My story
I began my career planning high‑profile, complex corporate events, large‑scale launches, leadership conferences, multi‑day programmes with demanding timelines and intricate stakeholder needs. Those years taught me how to hold complexity with calm professionalism, how to structure an event so it flows seamlessly, and how to anticipate challenges long before they appear.
Over time, I felt drawn toward work that centred around people more deeply. I moved into organising charity events, community gatherings, retreats, and wellbeing festivals, spaces where the purpose wasn’t profit or performance, but connection, care, and transformation. I saw how an event could genuinely change how someone feels: more grounded, more inspired, more understood.
That became my simple guiding principle: events should be built around what truly matters, creating spaces where people leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Why weddings
Weddings are one of the few spaces where this philosophy truly comes alive. They’re built around what matters — full of emotion, meaning, and personal story. They deserve planning that honours that.
I founded Somerset Wedding Consulting because I wanted to bring my experience from high‑pressure corporate environments and my heart‑led community work into a space where clarity, intention, and care matter more than anything else.
A wedding isn’t a production. It’s a moment of truth between two people and the community around them, and my role is to help you create a celebration that feels authentic, meaningful, and beautifully aligned with your values.
My approach
My approach sits at the meeting point between structure and sensitivity, logistics and listening, planning and presence. It’s a blend shaped by years of high‑profile event management and person‑centred training.
I bring the organisational strength of corporate event management.
I bring the sensitivity shaped by wellbeing and community work, an instinct for what matters and how people feel within a space.
I guide you through decisions with clarity, warmth, and grounded professionalism.
Whether you’re planning a small, soulful celebration or a larger gathering, I help you create a wedding that feels intentional, authentic, and true to who you are.
Rooted in Somerset
Serving Wells, Glastonbury, Bath and the surrounding area, I draw inspiration from Somerset’s landscapes and independent spirit, from the soft light over Glastonbury Tor to the craftsmanship of local makers. My work honours that sense of place: grounded, natural, and quietly beautiful.
